Wholesale & Custom LED Neon Signs
Design your own custom neon signs with BeginLighting — a wholesale neon sign supplier turning your artwork into flexible-silicone custom LED neon signs for brands, retailers and event decorators. Our made-to-order LED neon signs cover business logos, wedding backdrops, bar and storefront neon signage and wall art, in a full range of colors. Every piece delivers an even, low-heat glow and ships as your colorway, logo and retail or gift pack under OEM / ODM. Low MOQ, 15-day samples — send your design and we’ll quote it.
Wholesale Neon Signs for Sign Shops and Retailers
Resale buyers rarely want a single design. Sign shops pair a few storefront pieces with stock wall-art shapes; gift and decor retailers want a shelf-ready assortment instead. Both are quoted the same way, line by line at wholesale pricing against the volume on the request, with low MOQs, so a first order can test several designs rather than bet everything on one. Your logo, colorway and retail or gift pack go on under OEM and ODM. And because wholesale neon signs sit on the same quote as candle warmers, projectors and table lamps, a mixed order is packed, documented and invoiced as one shipment instead of four. Add the pieces you want to your quote list and send one combined request.
Custom LED signs: one category, two very different briefs
Wholesale demand here splits into two jobs that look nothing alike on a quote. Custom LED signs for business use are specified from vector artwork and judged on how well they read from the street. Custom light up signs for decor, events and gifting are judged on shape, color and how they photograph on a wall.
- Business and storefront – logo lockups, shop names and opening panels. Artwork in, proof back, then production and export packing under one quote.
- Decor and gifting – hearts, words, shapes and seasonal pieces sold off a shelf or a website rather than commissioned one at a time.
- Events and hire – names, dates and photo backdrops, usually needed as a repeatable format your team can resell season after season.
All of it is flexible-silicone LED neon built in-house rather than fragile glass tube, and all of it is quoted from the artwork you send.
How do these mount, and can you include a neon sign stand?
Mounting is decided at artwork stage rather than after the piece is made, so tell us where each sign will live when you send the design. Wall pieces are normally a cut-to-shape backing with standoffs or a hanging kit; counter, window and event pieces are often better on a neon sign stand or an acrylic base, so the sign can be moved and stored without drilling anything. Say which you need in the quote request and it gets priced with the sign instead of chased afterwards.
Buyers come to this range for commercial neon signs as often as for home pieces. Both are built on the same floor to the same standard, and wholesale LED neon signs are priced per design once your artwork clears the free proof review.
Artwork Files: What Makes a Design Production-Ready
Most of the back-and-forth on a wholesale neon sign order happens before anything is bent, and it is nearly always about the file. Send outlined vector artwork rather than a screenshot or a flattened photo, because the tube path is traced from the outline and not from the pixels. If only a raster file exists, say so on the request and our own drawing desk redraws it as part of the proof stage.
Three things in a design decide whether it can be built as drawn:
- Stroke width and letter height travel together. Silicone tube has a fixed bend radius, so very fine hairlines and tight interior loops have to be opened up or the letterform closes on itself. The proof shows you where that happens instead of leaving it to production.
- Connected script is easier to build than disconnected script. Letters that already touch need fewer lead-out wires, and every wire removed is one less line crossing the backing.
- Counters set the smallest usable size. The enclosed hole inside a lowercase a or e is the first detail to fill in when a design is scaled down, so the floor on size is set by the tightest counter in the word rather than by the overall width.
A free to-scale proof drawing comes back before anything is tooled: tube path, color breaks, backing outline, wire exit point and mounting hardware, all on one sheet with dimensions. Approve it or mark it up. Nothing goes into production off a verbal description.
Destination Power, Drivers and Spares on a Bulk Order
A sign that lights up on the bench at the workshop and stays dark in your warehouse is almost always a power problem rather than a sign problem. Custom LED sign bulk orders are built to a destination, so the market has to be named on the request instead of assumed: nominal mains supply runs about 110 to 120 volts across North America and 220 to 240 volts across most of Europe, the UK and Australia, and plug patterns differ again inside each of those groups.
Name the destination and these get quoted with the signs instead of chased afterwards:
- Driver or adapter matched to the local supply, with the cord and plug pattern for that market.
- Control method: an inline on-off switch, a remote, or a dimmer where the piece is sold as ambience rather than as signage.
- Spare drivers packed into the shipment. The driver is the part most likely to need swapping in the field, and spares riding in the carton save an air freight later.
- Multi-market splits. One run can be part-built for one voltage and part-built for another, declared per carton so your warehouse is not opening boxes to find out which is which.
Mixed destinations on a single purchase order are normal here. Put the country split in the quote request and the electrical package is quoted per project against it.
Packing an Acrylic-Backed Sign, and How a Bulk Order Runs
The acrylic backboard is the fragile part of this product, not the tubing. A cut-to-shape panel with narrow letter connections flexes in transit and can crack at its thinnest point, so pieces are packed to the shape of the sign rather than to a standard box size: corner protection on the panel, the sign face isolated from the carton wall, and the wire and driver bagged apart so nothing hard rides against the tube.
Large formats travel better split into sections that join on site, and that call belongs at artwork stage, because the split line is designed into the lettering instead of cut through it later. Tell us the ceiling on carton size at your end and the layout is drawn to it.
How an order actually runs
- Send artwork, sizes, destination market and the mounting method for each design.
- A to-scale proof comes back, with tube path, color breaks and wire exit marked.
- You approve or mark up the proof. Pricing is quoted per model against the volume on the request.
- Sampling runs about 15 days, and the sample fee is refundable against the production order.
- Production runs on our own neon bench in Foshan, then export packing, documentation and consolidation with anything else on the same quote.
Repeat programs work the same way with one difference: an approved proof stays on file, so a reorder of a design already built skips the drawing loop and goes straight to production scheduling.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much is a custom neon sign?
Pricing depends on size, number of colors and order volume, so every custom neon sign is quoted individually. As a wholesale manufacturer we work to low MOQs at factory pricing — send your artwork or shape brief and we'll return a per-unit quote plus a 15-day sample. Sample fees are refundable against your first production order.
Do you make custom neon signs for home decor?
Yes — customizable neon signs for home decor are one of our most-requested lines, from bedroom wall art and LED neon hearts to bar and studio pieces. Pick your shape, wording and color, add your OEM / ODM branding, and we build it made-to-order in flexible-silicone LED neon.
What custom neon sign designs can you make?
Any shape or lettering — business logos, wedding names and dates, quotes, and seasonal or cool neon signs like a merry xmas neon sign. All pieces are flexible-silicone LED neon in a full range of colors, so your catalog can carry everyday and holiday styles side by side.
What are your LED neon signs made of?
Our LED neon signs use flexible silicone LED tubing on a cut-to-shape backing — not fragile glass gas tubes — so they run cool, ship safely worldwide and suit both home decor and commercial neon signage. Colors, size and mounting are all made-to-order to your spec, and full specs and samples are available on request.
Are you a neon sign manufacturer?
Yes. We build custom LED neon in our own Foshan plant and handle artwork checks, proofing and export packing under one quote.
How much does a neon sign cost?
Market pricing scales with size, letter count and LED density; send your artwork through the quote form for an exact figure.
What are the best fonts for neon signs?
Bold rounded scripts and clean sans-serif faces bend best in LED neon; pair them with high-contrast neon sign colors such as warm white, pink or ice blue.
