Wholesale lighting from the plant that builds it

BeginLighting is a lighting factory in Foshan, Guangdong, and every line in this catalog is built there. Candle warmer lamps, solar flood lights, smart LED light strips, star and galaxy projectors, sunset projection lamps, decorative table lamps and custom neon signs all come off the same 4000 square meter floor, run by the same team of around forty people across two production lines. One purchase order, one contact, one plant behind all of it.

That matters most on the second order, not the first. Anyone can quote a container once. A factory has to answer for the finish, the inspection record and the carton spec every time you reorder, to the same people who cut the parts. This page is the program behind that: how a quote is built, how sampling runs, what gets tested, and what goes in writing before you pay anything.

The flagship line

Candle warmer lamps are where the plant started and where the tooling runs deepest: glass shades, steel poles, powder-coated steel and solid wood bases, a 4-level timer and a 4-level dimmer across the range, and eleven surface finishes to pick from. Private label goes furthest here, because the molds, the finish line and the packing bench are all in the same building. Buyers sourcing wholesale candle warmers get factory terms, not a reseller’s relay.

The wider range

Six further lighting lines built on the same floor and inspected to the same plan: solar flood lights, smart LED light strips, star and galaxy projectors, sunset projection lamps, decorative table lamps and custom neon signs, plus the warmer accessories that sit alongside the lamps. One factory, one quote, one contact, instead of six vendor accounts with six sets of terms and six inspection standards to reconcile. Buyers building a wholesale home decor shelf usually start here.

The breadth a lighting supplier is actually judged on

Buyers rarely open a single category. They open a shelf plan. These are the lines a quote can draw from, all built in the same plant, tagged so you can see where the tooling runs deepest and where the range extends.

Accessories are the one shelf where hardware sits next to a consumable. Warmer accessories and spare parts are built here alongside the lamps. Soy candles are not hardware and we do not pour wax: those come from a specialist partner, and the quote names them as such so your compliance file stays accurate.

Three things that decide whether a wholesale program survives the second order

Your label, on hardware we control

Private label is easy to promise and hard to deliver when the factory belongs to somebody else. Here the floor is ours, so the answer is concrete: on the candle warmer bodies, eleven surface finishes to choose between, a printed or pad-printed logo on the base, a plain export carton or your own retail box printed to your artwork, and insert cards if the gift program needs them. New shapes mean new tooling, which we scope as a project rather than sell from a price list, and the amortization method gets agreed in writing before any cutting starts, so you know exactly how tooling cost is carried across the first runs and what happens on the reorder. Full capability breakdown lives on the OEM and ODM page.

How far a change can go still varies by line, and you get that answer before you build a launch plan around it, not after. Packaging, sleeves and printed collateral are straightforward across the catalog. Changes to the product body are scoped per model, because a warmer housing, a strip controller and a neon bend are three different jobs on three different benches, and pretending otherwise is how launch dates slip.

Testing you can hand to your own compliance desk

Production inspects to a 0.65 AQL under the ANSI and ASQ Z1.4 sampling plan, and powered units get a hi-pot electrical safety test before they are packed. Third-party inspection and testing through SGS or BV is available on request, arranged per order rather than bundled into a marketing claim. Recycled content certified to the RCS standard, and Amazon Climate Pledge Friendly qualification, apply to the candle warmer line only, and we will not stretch either of them across the rest of the catalog to make a page read better.

The sampling plan and the test scope for your run are named on the quote before anything is cut, so the document your compliance desk receives matches the goods on the pallet rather than describing a different order. If your buying program mandates a specific standard, a specific lab or a defined defect classification, send it with the inquiry and we will build the quote around your standard instead of ours.

Paperwork that clears receiving, not just customs

Half the friction in a first wholesale order happens after the goods land. Per SKU, a quote carries the master carton pack count, gross and net weight, carton dimensions, HS code and the plug type declared for your destination market. Cartons can be labeled with your own SKU and barcode so your warehouse does not have to relabel a pallet by hand. Freight moves on whichever term your forwarder prefers, quoted rather than assumed.

A line sheet and the per-model spec sheets are available on request. They go out with the quote instead of sitting behind a download form, because the version that matters is the one matched to the models and finishes you actually asked about.

The plant behind the catalog

Three numbers, and they are ours to stand behind. No group figures borrowed from an association page, no floor space counted from a landlord’s brochure. We would rather publish a smaller true number than a larger borrowed one, because the first is the one you can walk through.

  • 4000 square meters
Production floor in Foshan, Guangdong, under one roof with two lines running
  • around 40 people
On the production line and in quality control, the same team that runs our own retail build
  • 11 finishes
Surface options across the candle warmer bodies, mixable within a single purchase order

Line footage and inspection records travel with a quote when you ask for them. A buyer who wants to see how the two lines run before signing a first order is a buyer worth having, and we will work out the format with you.

The terms, before you ask for them

Every wholesale inquiry eventually lands on the same handful of lines. Rather than publish numbers that fit nobody and get walked back on the call, here is exactly how each one is set and what it depends on. Every figure below is confirmed on your own quote, against your own models, quantities and destination.

Line item How it is set What moves it
Minimum order Quoted per model and per project, not posted as a catalog rule Body and finish mix, packaging type, whether the run is private label, and whether it is a first order or a repeat
Volume pricing Quoted by volume band, so you can see where the next tier begins Total order quantity, mix across models, packaging, and the freight term you choose
Sampling Sampling in about 15 days, and the sample fee is refundable against your order Whether the sample is a stock finish, a finish change, or a full pre-production sample with your artwork
Production lead time Two bands, quoted separately: sampling first, then the production window confirmed with your quote Season, finish availability, tooling status, and how fast the pre-production sample is signed off
Tooling Scoped as a project, with the amortization method agreed in writing before cutting starts How far the new part departs from an existing body, and the volume it is expected to carry
Private label Quoted per model, from logo and finish through to your own retail box; deepest on the candle warmer bodies where the tooling already exists How much of the change is packaging versus the product body, and whether new tooling is involved
Inspection 0.65 AQL under ANSI and ASQ Z1.4, with hi-pot electrical testing on powered units, and the plan named on your quote before the run Your own buying standard, if you have one, which we will work to instead
Third-party testing SGS or BV on request, arranged per order Destination market requirements and your retailer’s compliance file
Documentation Line sheet and per-model spec sheets available on request, sent with the quote Which models and finishes you asked about, so the sheet matches the shortlist
Freight Quoted to the incoterm your forwarder prefers rather than assumed Destination, volume, and whether you are consolidating with other suppliers

One deliberate omission: there is no price list on this page. A wholesale number that ignores your finish mix, your packaging and your destination is a number you will have to renegotiate anyway. Send the shortlist and the real one comes back in writing.

How a wholesale order actually runs

Six steps, and you will know which one you are standing in at any moment. A real person replies at every stage.

  1. Inquiry

Send your shortlist, your channel and your rough quantity band through the quote form, or build a quote list straight from the catalog. No account, no storefront login, no commitment to browse.

  2. Quote

Back comes pricing by volume band, minimums per model, lead times in two bands, carton data per SKU, and the finish and packaging assumptions each number is built on.

  3. Sample

Sampling in about 15 days, with the sample fee refundable against your order. For private label, this is where artwork, finish and packaging get proofed on a real unit rather than a rendering.

  4. Approve

You sign off the pre-production sample. Nothing goes to bulk before that signature, and the approved sample stays as the reference the inspection is judged against.

  5. Production

The run goes onto the line with the inspection plan already agreed and the approved sample sitting next to it. You get progress updates and the inspection result, not silence until the pallet ships.

  6. Ship

Cartons labeled to your SKU and barcode, documents matched to the goods, freight on your chosen term. Reorders run against the same carton spec so receiving never has to relearn the pallet.

Wholesale program FAQ

What is the minimum order?

It is quoted per model and per project. A single body with one finish behaves very differently from a mixed-finish order with your own printed box, so a posted number would be wrong for almost everybody who reads it. Tell us the models and the quantity band you are planning and a straight minimum comes back in the first reply.

How do you price wholesale lighting when one order mixes several lines?

As one quote, with the volume bands shown per line rather than blended into a single average. A candle warmer body and a neon sign have different cost structures even coming out of the same plant, and hiding that inside one number only helps the seller. You see each line separately, plus the freight term, so procurement can compare any of them against whatever else is on the desk.

Which products do you actually manufacture?

All of them. Candle warmer lamps, solar flood lights, smart LED light strips, star and galaxy projectors, sunset projection lamps, decorative table lamps, custom neon signs and the warmer accessories are built in our own plant in Foshan, on two production lines under one roof, by the team of around forty people that also runs our retail build. The one exception is a consumable rather than a product line: soy candles are poured by a specialist partner, not by us, and the quote says so.

How long does sampling take, and is the sample fee refundable?

Sampling in about 15 days, and the sample fee is refunded against your order. If the sample needs new artwork or a finish that is not in the standard eleven, the timing is confirmed with the quote before anything starts.

Can you run our private label and our own packaging?

Yes, down to logo, finish, retail box and insert card. It goes furthest on the candle warmer bodies, where eleven finishes and the tooling are already in the building. On the other lines, packaging-level branding is straightforward and product-level changes are scoped per model, since a strip controller and a neon bend are not the same job. You will be told exactly how far a change can go before you plan a launch around it, which is the part most suppliers leave until it is expensive.

Do you provide a line sheet or spec sheets?

Available on request, and they go out with the quote rather than behind a download gate. Ask in the inquiry and the sheet arrives matched to the models and finishes you shortlisted, with carton data, weights, dimensions and HS codes per SKU.

What should I be asking any lighting supplier before the first order?

Three questions, and they are worth asking us too. Do you make this or relabel it, and can you name the plant. What inspection standard runs on it, and will you put the sampling plan in writing before payment. What documentation ships with the goods, per SKU, and does it match what my compliance file needs. Any supplier who answers all three in writing is worth sampling. Any supplier who cannot is going to be somebody else’s problem eventually.
